CityView Place Construction Underway
Construction is well underway for CityView Place, a 41,000 sf affordable housing project in Richmond, Virginia. Foundation and concrete work is nearly complete, and the construction framing will be reaching for the sky this spring.
The 3-story building includes 32 two and three bedroom apartments, all accessible per ADA, FHA and VHDA requirements. In addition, the project includes an enclosed parking garage, a Community Room, an Exercise Room, and a Computer Room.
The building includes brick masonry and porch details designed to compliment the rest of the neighborhood and to connect with the surrounding urban area. Kerns Group Architects is excited to be part of the resurgence of the Manchester neighborhood and construction completion is expected in the Fall of 2013.
