This renovation to an existing downtown DC office building expands the office area and preserves the integrity of the post-World War I Tudor Revival apartment building with a vertical addition. The four-story addition steps back at each floor level maintaining the scale and character of the existing façade. Doubling the interior area, the new structure blends in elegantly with the existing setting. Inside, a dramatic curving wall defines a special two-story indoor/outdoor area at the ground level.
